Will Prince Harry be the next royal to walk down the aisle?
Speculation has increased after The Telegraph reported Sunday that Harry may pop the question to girlfriend Cressida Bonas next year.
And betting odds have grown accordingly as bookmakers reflect the increasing talk of wedding bells. Ladbrokes have odds of 8/11 that they will be engaged by the end of 2013 and even money on a wedding by the end of 2015.
"The more the couple are pictured together, the more punters are parting ways with their cash over Prince Harry popping the question this year," Jessica Bridge of the online betting and gaming organization said.
The Telegraph quoted a friend of Bonas's who said the 24-year-old was "going to marry Harry."
The unnamed pal added that the Prince, known for his playful character, was clearly feeling the time was right to settle down. “Harry never stops talking about marriage and children, and she has now got used to the idea. The wedding is likely to take place next year.”
The chatter follows the back-to-back dates last week, when the couple were suddenly seen out in London at the theater and a showbiz event to promote James Blunt's new album.
Harry, 29, has been representing his grandmother Queen Elizabeth at a review of the fleet in Australia and is set to host a bash for his charity “Sentebale" in Dubai Monday evening.
A spokesman at his office at Kensington Palace had no comment.
