‘You may kiss your bride’

‘You may kiss your bride’: The sisters jointly experience one of the biggest moments in a relationship. The sisters jointly experience one of the biggest moments in a relationship.
“You may each kiss your bride.”
A Georgia mother dying of breast cancer
lived long enough to hear those words as
she watched her three daughters get
married at the same time — one day
before passing away.

With their ailing mom, Becky, in the front
row, Jodie, Sarah and Kaylie Swales all
said “I do” in Sunday’s ceremony in
Snellville, Ga.
The family was able to pull it all off with
a bounty of donations from the local
community, and the venue was offered
free of charge.
The Swales sisters, Jodie, Kaylie and 19-year-old Sarah, moved their Oct. 26 ceremony to Sunday after learning mother Becky had little time left in her battle with breast cancer. ‘It’s kind of bittersweet,’ Jodie said.

The triple ceremony was originally set for
Oct. 26, but was moved up to Sunday
when the brides found out their mother
did not have much time left. As it turned
out, she had only 12 hours left.
“It’s kind of bittersweet,” Jodie Swales,
22, told FOX 5 before getting married.
“We are happy that she’s here, but this
will probably be the last big thing that
we do with her.”
